Teaching constitutes
the body of the institute and the quality of the faculty
will directly affect the school’s quality. To establish
a team with high academic and teaching levels, abundant
experiences, deep understanding of both domestic and overseas
development and demands of software industry, good command
of foreign language, admirable morality, reasonable proportion
of both part time and full time teachers, the following
approaches are followed:
● The part time teachers came
to IIT from both Northeast University and Neusoft to teach
underlying and theoretical courses with double salaries.
The two parties mentioned possess powerful advantages in
computer science and especially true for the distinguishing
young teaching team tutored by Dr. Liujiren and Dr. Zhaohong.
IIT benefits a lot from these gifted individuals.
● Many experienced software engineers
with suitable teaching capability and master or above degree
are recruited from Neusoft among thousands of employees
and doubly paid and are involved in the practical teaching
work. Up to now, over 100 software engineers are a part
of the team.
● Some well known professors from
the prestigious universities in Dalian and Northeast China
were taken in as the part time teachers
● Some professionals
were recruited from the markets to vacant positions and
strengthen the elementary theoretical teaching.
● Some engineers from
the Courseware Center and R&D Center may also be the
teachers.
● The Neusoft IIT
Scholar Programm is designed to offer the salary of over
100,000 RMB to 10 IT scholars across the country in order
to guarantee a top class faculty.
● Some CTOs and engineers
from prestigious software firms like CISCO, IBM, SUN and
ORACLE were also employed to teach as a part time teacher. |
