Japan ALPS Group is a global enterprise
taking the three companies of ALPS Electric, ALPS Logistics
and ALPINE as the key pillar. It has 94 subsidairy enterprises
and 17 relevant enterprises in 20 countries all over the world.
ALPS Group launched its business in China in 1984, it is one
of the earliest transnational enterprises which entered the
Chinese market. It is devoted to producing comprehensive electronic
units for the multimedia equipment and systems, the auto audio
appliances and navigation system of the automobile as well as
the research of mobile multimedia, and offers systematic logistics
services for electronic unit products. China has already had
more than 20 sites producing and selling its products and has
set up a complete production and marketing network.
In 1991, ALPS cooperated with Northeastern
University and established Shenyang Neusoft Software Co. ltd.
It¡¯s China¡¯s first software company listed in Chinese stock
market. ALPS Group was the strategic partner of the Neusoft
Group for many years and both sides have a good and close relationship.
The scholarship was set up to express ALPS¡¯s appreciation for
Dalian¡¯s government support of the ALPS Group and Mr. Masataka
Kataoka£¬President of the ALPS Electric was awarded the title
of ¡°Honorary Citizen of Dalian¡±. The decision of setting up
scholarship in Neusoft IIT aims to encourage its students who
have good character and fine scholarship to become more competitive
so as to contribute to the development of China¡¯s IT industry.
¡°ALPS Group Scholarship¡± is the first
enterprise scholarship project in the history of Neusoft IIT
and it¡¯s very significant in the institute¡¯s process. It not
only played a very positive role in promoting the construction
of the style of study, encouraging and conducting students but
also reflected the fruit of training high-quality personnel.
The institute attracted transnational enterprises¡¯ attention
and support. Excellent talents of the institute has become a
target resource for trans-corporation and the institute¡¯s brand
effect has been more and more obvious day by day.
The establishment of ¡°ALPS Group Scholarship¡± expressed not
only ALPS¡¯s respect to talents and ¡°People First¡± culture, but
also Mr. Masataka Kataoka¡¯s love and sincere support of Dalian¡¯s
IT undertaking as an honorary citizen. It has been a tie of
beautiful emotion between the group and the people of Dalian.
As Neusoft¡¯s first scholarship donated by enterprise, its birth
will become a dazzling navigation mark for Dalian¡¯s Japan-oriented
software cooperation.
It was said that many famous domestic
and overseas companies had expressed their intent of setting
up scholarship and cultivating customized talents in the Neusoft
IIT, and some of the co-operations have been started. We firmly
believe that Neusoft¡¯s internationalized, pragmatic and individualized
IT talents will offer a qualified and efficient human resource
guarantee to the development of China¡¯s IT companies.
On the evening of October 6th, the banquet
for the establishment of the ALPS Group Scholarship was held
