The General Information about the Foreign Teachers

      In the academic year from 2002 to 2003, a total of 17 foreign teachers (including 15 Europe/American teachers and 2 Japanese teachers) were working at Dalian IIT and 6 English foreign teachers at Nanhai IIT. They mainly taught the oral courses assisted by the computer resources like Powerpoint.

The Treatment After One Year Contract Fulfilled

      - The base salary per month: 4,000 RMB for 20 hours per week or 3,000RMB for16 periods/per week.
      - An apartment equipped with cooking facilities, bathroom, telephone (among which 100RMB phone call is covered by IIT), washing machine, drinking water, TV and refrigerator.
      - Health insurance is provided during the stay in China and 30-day leave is offered with half of the monthly salary if the foreign teacher is sick.
      -> The water charge, which is not over the average level will be paid by IIT.
      - The air fares (two way) of economic class will be covered by IIT (One way air fare is covered if only contracted for half year).
      - 2,200 RMB travel expenditure will be supplied by IIT per year for vacations.
      - Free Chinese courses per week.
      - Support concerning daily life.
      - The part in red is for teachers with a half year contract.

Recruitment Information

      A Amount in need: For the academic year from 2003 to 2004, Dalian IIT needs 17 English foreign teachers and 5 Japanese foreign teachers while Nanhai IIT needs10 English foreign teachers and Chengdu needs 6 English foreign teachers.

      Requirements: You’re supposed to be a native English speaker, open and aware of teamwork with a bachelor degree at least. Teaching experience is preferred.
