● The Forum For Sino-Japanese Software Development On July 6, 2001, the forum sponsored by Dalian Administration was elabotately held at the IIT International Auditorium as a further move of the previous activities of introducing commerce and investment. Much attention had been brought into the forum and Huangqitao, and Boxilai attended the forum as well as other Japanese multinational companies like TOSHIBA, METRO, NECSOFT, GORY Machine, INTEC, DENSO ALPS and ALPINE

● The Neusoft Cup For China University Software Star Competition From November 2001 to June 2002, this competition was held at IIT and sponsored by Liaoning Education Department and Dalian Administration. More than 55 teams from 29 universities in Northeast China competed for it and the varsity from Dalian University of Science and Technology won the laurel and the laptop computer sponsored by IBM. The competition has become a trinity festival for the undergraduates and professors to discuss software technologies and teaching approaches.

● TEFL Forum 2003 On March 15, 2003, the forum was gorgeously opened with the joint efforts by Neusoft and Neusoft IIT. Many foreign language experts and English teaching experts attended the forum and exchanged ideas about TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language).

● Talents & Online Neusoft Cup For International Professional English Competition From March 2003, this competition was initiated and sponsored by Dalian Personnel Department of CPC, Dalian Municipal Personnel Bureau and Dalian IIT among the administrations, enterprises and universities. The first round competition adopted the most advanced CASEC and was combined with jury evaluation and live presentations alive. The competition waged a vogue for studying English in Dalian whilst staging an admirable aura for setting up a talent stronghold to gain a faster speed in turning into a learning City.
